Brass

Brass alloys are made mostly of copper, with zinc serving as a crucial secondary component. It increases the cold working strength while decreasing the conductivity and cost. A wide range of characteristics, such as strength, hardness, machinability, ductility, corrosion resistance, and thermal and electrical conductivity, are dependent on the degree of alloying. Since the different alloying processes provide a variety of colours, including red, yellow, gold, bronze, silver, and brown, brass is a great material for ornamental applications. Furthermore, brass is employed in many other processes, such as precision stamping and processing. Their antibacterial qualities make them very useful in both brewing operations and medical settings.
